Working with SSCI
SSCI tailors each project to the specific needs of each client.
The first step is always a discussion to understand client needs and establish a specific approach.
Concept validation work generally comprises a combination of primary and secondary market research, with an emphasis on the primary research, and will be unique to each client. Likewise, technical contract work will also be unique to each client, depending upon specific needs. For each of the remaining areas, there is a pre-defined general approach that is customizable according to client needs.

Once a client’s needs are understood and a particular approach selected, SSCI will create a milestone driven proposal for the client to consider. Proposals are generally organized around specific deliverables and milestones, with fees attached to milestones reflecting completion of key phases of the work (not to hours worked).
This approach has two key benefits for clients: (1) SSCI is incentivized to efficiently deliver promised milestones—value for the client—not to maximize billable time. (2) You, as client, can stop work after any milestone if you are not fully satisfied and prepared to go on to the next step.
